Facebook post from October 7th, 2021 from Jenn:
We did a changing of the guard today. We are now allowed to have 2 caregivers (at separate times) for each patient. My@mom came today and I gave her a quick tour and run down on julians schedule and needs. I’m going home for a few days to see chris and twins. It’s been so long. I’ve been gone for over 7 weeks. I’ve never been away from them for so long. The kids have done great with chris, grandparents, aunts and uncles but need some mommy time right now. It feels so weird to be in a car and on my way somewhere. I can’t wait to our my arms on everyone for a big hug. It’s super stress provoking leaving Julian but know he’s in good hands without me there. Think I got my mommy bear issues from my mom so I’m sure she can step into my shoes easily. We have so much to get figured out when I’m home with the house so we can get ready to bring Julian home soon. Praying to see some progress being away for a few days when I get back. Julian has had some good days, chatting up a storm and feeling less pain. Kristen (Tim-her husband) and I continued this weekend making sure that all the kids had some time together watching football and we got dinner for everyone. Think it’s good to keep spirits up until the new week starts. He is doing so good too being brave, and pushing through to get the most we can while we are at shepherd. He misses everyone badly!
