Today they planned a little surprise for Julian.  Everyone knows he’s a car guy and he loves learning about cars, fixing cars and his car was his love.  His first words were names of cars that we would point out as we drove.  They had someone bring their Porsche in so Julian could get in and go for a little stroll (on the property).  I thank each of his therapists for putting another smile on his face.

We did have a now funny instance tonight (and surprised I didn’t know better from working in hospitals my whole adult life).  We had a lazy afternoon, Julian got back in bed around dinner for a nap.  I decided I needed a sugar fix so I ran down to the cafeteria.  While I was down there they had overheard page that they had a code red (fire) 4 doors down from Julian.  I once used to be in shape but I proved tonight I am not.  I ran up 5 flights of stairs as fast as I could to try to get back up to Julian.   As soon as I reached our floor they announced the all clear, just a drill.  Very happy but have to admit my lungs were on fire 😜😜 later learned Kristen was coming in from the garage and heard the same thing and ran up as well.  If only I could see the video of 2 stressed out moms running up stairs to save our kids from a fire 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️.

I am so thankful for all the friends and family that are lending advice and strength.  I’m ready to see each of you!  Please keep praying.  I looked at pictures and videos from closer to the accident.  It may look minimal but he really has achieved many things.  I’m going to take some advice and focus on the most important things and have to let some others be what they may.

The song that Kees coming up today is spot on.  “ I pray for healing, and circumstances to change. I pray for the fear inside in Jesus’s name.  I pray a breakthrough will happen today.  I pray for will happen today. I pray for miracles! ”
