I would do anything to keep these smiles coming! Julian and 2 of his best friends (Bre and David) went to the Morgan Wallen/Hardy concert tonight. When Julian was at Shepherd, tickets went on sale and he asked if he could get tickets. It’s the first thing he mentioned wanting to do with life moving forward at home. I immediately got on when they went on sale to do this for him. There is a saying that a mother is only as happy as her most unhappy child. Well today this mother gets to be happy. He and his friends had a wonderful time and seeing him smile is the best thing in the world. They are few in between now but cherish them when I see them. His friends are amazing people to help julian maneuver getting into a very large crowded area and chris is awesome to give up his evening to sit in the parking lot waiting for them to be ready to leave. Life isn’t easy but seeing him want to venture out in the world is a positive move in the right direction. It takes a lot of confidence to do this on his part and he’s been doing the best he can with what he’s been given. I pray for these good days to outweigh our bad days. It is a roller coaster of emotions, and know we will have the bad with the good. I hope he made memories with his best friends that will last a lifetime. And carry us through until the next wonderful day. The world can be crazy but it all comes down to raising caring kids that will be there for each other no matter how hard the circumstances! Love these kids and his friends that are with him on a dailybasis.
